Introduction
The purpose of these Rules, which cover all transactions
from 1st March 2006, is to detail the terms and
conditions under which bets are accepted by Chris
Pluck. They include maximum winnings, the type
of bets available and the events and races on
which bets are accepted. Also covered in these
rules are details of how bets will be settled
if you make an error when placing bets or our
staff make an error when processing bets or quoting
prices. It is your responsibility to ensure that
you are familiar with these rules or the terms
of a particular bet, as we cannot guarantee that
our staff will draw them to your attention.
Any amendments to these rules will be advertised
in our branches and forwarded to I.B.A.S. and
should be read as part of these Rules until such
time as the Rule Book is updated.
Details of I.B.A.S. are given on page 10 ‘Claims
and Disputes’.

General Rules
Conditions of Acceptance
Subject to these rules, bets are accepted for
horse race meetings held under the rules of the
Jockey Club, Irish Turf Club or their equivalent
bodies abroad provided that, in each case, the
programmes and results are published in the Racing
Post. Bets will also be accepted for all B.A.G.S./B.E.G.S.
meetings, bets for non-B.A.G.S./B.E.G.S. meetings
will be accepted at the managers discretion. Bets
are accepted for all sporting events and special
events where we specifically advertise acceptance
e.g. Football, Golf, Cricket, Political betting,
Christmas bets etc. and will be settled in accordance
with the special rules issued for such events.
For any eventuality not covered by the special
rules, the general terms of our betting rules
will apply.
Once accepted, a bet can only be cancelled by
mutual consent.
The placing of a bet with Chris Pluck, signifies
your acceptance of our rules, whether or not you
have familiarised yourself with them.
If a bet is struck but does not appear on our
security system we reserve the right to refuse
payment.
Should there ever be any doubt as to whether
a bet refers to Horse or Greyhound racing, Horse
Racing will be given precedence. However, where
numbered selections are nominated and there is
some doubt as to whether the bet refers to Greyhound
or Horse racing, then Greyhound Racing will be
given precedence. Named selections will always
take precedence over numbers.
We reserve the right to refuse the whole or any
part of any bet but will endeavour to always give
an explanation as to why.
Bets at Tote Odds are not accepted (except Placepots,
and via Tote Direct Machines) and any taken in
error will be settled as follows: Exacta as Reversed
Forecast to half the unit stake, Win and Each
Way bets at starting price. All other bets will
be made void.
All bets are deemed for the day of acceptance,
unless otherwise stated.
We cannot allow for mistakes nor accept responsibility
for any errors or omissions in respect of the
announcing, publishing, or issuing of prices,
runners or results despite our every effort to
ensure total accuracy. However, we reserve the
right to correct obvious errors.
Special bets are settled in accordance with the
special rules issued for such bets.
All bets accepted will be settled on the official
result, unless otherwise stated.
We cannot guarantee to pay or correct errors
if they are brought to our attention more than
six months after the official result of the last
selection to run on the bet.
Postal, fax, telex or email bets are not accepted.
Time of Acceptance
If, for any reason, a bet is inadvertently accepted
after betting has closed, selection(s) affected
will be made void if, at the time the bet was
placed, the race or event was resolved or at a
stage where the client could have had an indication
of the outcome.
Where the official OFF of an event is not announced,
bets will be accepted up to the advertised OFF
time. Any bet taken after this may be deemed void,
unless we are satisfied that the bet was accepted
before the actual OFF. However, for some sporting
events, we may allow a grace period during which
bets will be accepted provided that there has
been no significant development in the event.
For example on football matches, we may accept
bets up to 5 minutes after kick off provided that
no goal has been scored or there has not been
some other significant incident, such as a sending
off.
Limits
The following are the limits that can be won
by a single client or syndicate in respect of
any one day's business. Our Staff are not authorised
to accept bets that exceed these limits. Any bets
taken in error, the limit will stand.
Horse Racing:
£50,000 - Horse racing where all the selections
are in races governed by a full official service
within the UK or Ireland, broadcast live by SIS
or an alternative provider, including shows, offs,
results and live pictures.
£10,000 – Where there is 15 minutes
or less between advertised off times.
£10,000 – Any Bet that is concluded
outside the trading hours of the branch at which
the bet is placed.
£10,000 - Horse racing in all other countries
and selections that are not covered by a full
official service.
£10,0000 - Any Bet that includes a selection
involved in an amended result.
£10,000 – Forecasts and Tricasts
£10,000 - Tote Placepots (Tote Direct Terminals
have their own limits)
Greyhound Racing:
£10,000 - Greyhound racing where all the
selections are in races governed by a full official
service within the UK or Ireland, broadcast live
by SIS or an alternative provider, including shows,
offs, results and live pictures and races covered
live by Sky Sports
£5,000 - All other greyhound races where
we advertise acceptance.
Football: £10,000
Other Sports: All other sports as detailed in
their individual rules.
Fixed Odds Number Games:
£10,000 - Includes bets on the 49's, Irish
Lottery, Rapido, Virtual horse and greyhounds.
Non Sport and Speciality Bets:
£5,000 - Includes bets on media and television
events such as Eurovision Song Contest, Big Brother
etc.
For multiple bets including selections from markets
where different limits apply, the maximum payout
on the bet will default to the lowest applicable
limit.
Where bets are placed on different days, the
maximum payout limit will apply to the day that
the final selection in the bets were completed
and not to the day that the bets were placed.
Any group of customers who have placed the same
combination of selections and we believe have
been acting as a syndicate will be treated as
one customer for the purpose of the above limits.
Displayed Prices and Information
Bets are accepted at 'show prices', as transmitted
by the official information service to our office,
e.g. SIS. Where a show price is requested, it
will apply to that selection in all win and each
way bets where it occurs on the betting slip,
unless it is clearly indicated otherwise.
Ante-post betting ceases at the final declaration
stage and all bets placed after the final declaration
stage will be non-runner no bet, Tattersall Rule
4 may apply.
We cannot allow for mistakes, nor accept responsibility
for any errors or omissions in respect of accuracy
in publishing or issuing of prices or information,
despite our every effort to ensure total accuracy
and reserve the right to correct these errors.
Dead Heats
When a dead heat occurs for first place, the
stake money on the winning selection will be divided
by the number of winners and full odds paid on
the reduced stake. The remainder of the stake
is lost.
Where an each way bet involves a dead heat winner,
the win part of the bet will be settled as above
and the place part will be settled in full, in
accordance with the relevant place terms. Should
the dead heat involve placed selections and results
in more than the allocated number of places, then
the stakes will be divided, as before and settled
to the full place terms.
Tattersalls Rule 4
When a selection is withdrawn prior to the start
of an event, remaining selections may be subject
to a Rule 4. The following table lists the rate
of deduction dependent on the price of the withdrawn
selection.

Should a horse be withdrawn and a new market
formed, then any bets laid at ‘show’
prices prior to the new show will subject to the
above deductions. In the event of a further withdrawal
after the market has been re-formed, bets placed
at ‘show’ prices in the original market
will be subject to a further deduction based on
the price on the price of the withdrawn horse
in the original market. Bets placed in the new
market will be subject to a deduction based on
the current price.
The above scale will also apply in the case of
non-runners in Early Bird races and will be used
for other events where we specifically advertise
that deductions in line with ‘Tattersalls
Rule 4 (c) will apply.
Settlement of Bets:
Bets are settled on the official result as declared
immediately following the event subject to any
other provision in our rules. Where a result is
amended after the official result is declared,
for example as a result of a successful appeal,
the amendment will be ignored for settlement purposes.
Where bets or parts of bets are made void, stakes
on singles will be refunded, but on multiple bets,
the void selection will be treated as a non-runner.
All bets are settled strictly on their merits
and no plea of precedence will be accepted.
We cannot guarantee to pay or correct any returns,
if they have not been claimed within six months
of the official result.
Place bets at Starting Price are not accepted
unless an equal amount is invested to win. Any
place stake inadvertently accepted in excess of
the win stake will be void.
For the purpose of settling each way doubles,
trebles etc. they are calculated as 2 distinct
bets, i.e. win-to-win and place-to-place.
If two selections are engaged with the same name
and both selections are still to run at the time
of acceptance, provided that no time has been
given, the bets will be settled on the runner
without a suffix for the country of origin e.g.
USA, IRE.
In all cases of incorrect or incomplete instructions,
the bet will be taken as win, unless each way
is stated.
For Horse and Greyhound racing, where two selections
are nominated in the same race and no instructions
given, then the bet will be settled as a straight
forecast, or a combination forecast where three
or more selections are nominated.
Where a win or each way bet is requested with
nominated selections in the same market, the bet
will be settled as singles with the stake divided
equally.
Incorrect Spelling/Staking
Should a named selection be WRONGLY GIVEN the
bet will stand provided that only one runner could
possibly be intended. However, where the incorrectly
given selection combines the names of two runners
then the stake or part of the stake affected will
be equally divided between the two runners concerned.
Where more than two runners are involved the selection
will be made void.
Where INSUFFICIENT STAKES are received, then
the total stake will be proportioned over the
whole of the slip.
Should there be OVERSTAKING by a client, subject
to paragraph (d), the total return on the slip
will be proportioned by the amount overpaid, thereby
increasing any returns due. No over staking will
be returned.
Where a client gives TOO FEW SELECTIONS for
the number of Doubles, Trebles etc., required
then, subject to (c) a non-runner or non-runners
will be added.
Where a client gives TOO MANY SELECTIONS for
a full cover or named type bet (i.e. Yankee, Canadian,
Heinz etc.) then the stakes paid will be proportioned
over the appropriate full cover bet for that number
of selections. Where singles are included, the
stake will be apportioned over the appropriate
full cover bet including singles.
Where a client’s instructions indicate
an intention for a THROUGH THE CARD bet but stakes
for FEWER RACES than there are on the programme,
then the stake will apportioned to cover all of
the races. Similarly, when a client stakes for
MORE RACES than scheduled, the bet will be treated
as over staked as per paragraph (c).
In multiple bets where two or more SELECTIONS
RUN IN THE SAME RACE stakes will be equally divided
where the selections clash. For example, if you
stipulate 3x £2 win Doubles and a £2
win Treble on three selections, A, B, and C, with
selections A and B being in the same race, then
the bet is settled as a £1 win A, £1
win B, £2 Double BC, £2 Double AC
and the Treble becomes 2 x £1 Doubles AC
and BC.
However where only two selections are nominated
and the instructions are for a Double and both
run in the same race, the bet will be settled
as a Straight Forecast if a win double is requested
and a Reversed Forecast if an Each Way Double
is requested.
Where only three selections are nominated and
the instructions are for a Treble and all three
selections are in the same race, if that race
is a Tricast race the bet will be settled as a
Straight Tricast if a Win Treble is requested
and a Combination Tricast settled in proportion
if an Each Way Treble is requested.
In all other cases the stake will be apportioned
over the number of selections nominated and the
bet settled as singles at Starting Price.
Where the SAME SELECTION IS NOMINATED TWICE
then all bets will be settled as instructed with
one of the duplicated selections becoming a non-runner.
In the case of bets such as Alphabets, the bets
within that bet will be treated separately.
Where NO INSTRUCTIONS are given with a single
selection, the bet will be settled as a win single.
Where two or more selections are involved the
bet will be settled as win full cover of Doubles
and upwards with the stake equally divided e.g.
3 selections - £10 stakes – 3 x £2.50
Doubles, 1 x £2.50 Treble.
However, where the stake divides exactly by the
total number of bets for full cover INCLUDING
SINGLES indicating that this type of bet was intended,
then the bet will be settled as such e.g. 3 selections
- £7 stakes - £1 win Patent. Cont.
Where NO INSTRUCTIONS are given and both or all
SELECTIONS ARE IN THE SAME RACE then they will
be settled as forecast bets to the appropriate
stake, i.e. two selections will be settled as
one Straight Forecast in the order given. For
three or more selections then the amount of stakes
will be divided equally to include all forecast
combinations e.g. three selections given will
be settled as six Straight Forecasts.
Where the client has clearly indicated that only
ONE ACCUMULATIVE BET is required, then settlement
will be for one accumulative bet according to
the number of selections given.
Where a client INCORRECTLY TIMES a named selection
which is not doubly engaged, the bet will stand
for the race in which the selection actually runs.
Ante-Post
Ante-Post prices are those offered on:
A Horse Race prior to the final declaration stage.
A Greyhound race prior to the day of the race
(Unless special conditions are advertised)
Sporting events as advertised 4 or more days
before the scheduled start of the match or competition.
Ante-post bets are accepted on the basis of "all
in run or not", Stakes are lost on an Ante-Post
bet if the selection does not take part. No Tattersalls’
Rule 4 deductions are made from winnings.
For Each Way Ante Post bets, for the place part
of an each way bet, the fraction odds and number
of places relating to each event, are those pertaining
on the date of acceptance.
Place only bets and forecast bets are not accepted
Ante-post, unless advertised otherwise.
Bets are executed at the price ruling at the
time of acceptance. We reserve the right to correct
any obvious errors.
All Ante-post selections will be made void if:
The race or event is abandoned.
The race or event is officially declared void.
The conditions or venue of the race or event
are altered, after the bet is struck.
The race is reopened or additional runners (other
than known reserves) are added.
A horse is balloted out. In this instance, the
liabilities against the horses remaining are reduced
at the rate in accordance with Tattersalls Rule
4 depending on the odds currently available on
the balloted out selection(s).
Where the same selection is backed to win two
or more events in an Ante-post accumulator bet,
a special price will apply, irrespective of the
individual odds quoted on the slip. Where no special
combined price is available, e.g. a horse to win
a Derby trial and the Derby, settlement will be
based on the first available odds after each leg
has been completed.
Rigging
Where there is evidence of Price, Race, Match
or Event rigging, we reserve the right to withhold
payment, pending the outcome of any subsequent
investigation and ultimately to declare bets on
that event as void.
Where evidence of rigging exists or where there
is evidence of a series of bets each containing
the same selection(s), having been placed by or
for the same individual or by a syndicate of individuals,
we reserve the right to require claims for payment
to be submitted in writing to our Customer Service
Department.
In the event of an official enquiry in relation
to suspicious betting activity surrounding an
event, we reserve the right to disclose confidential
information to the sports governing body or their
representatives, on the condition that they consent
to keeping such information confidential.
Related Contingencies
Except where advertised, multiple bets are not
accepted where the outcome of one part of the
bet contributes to the outcome of the other. If
taken in error, the stakes will be equally divided
where they clash e.g. £10 double on Liverpool
to win the match and Liverpool to win at half
time and full time, would be settled as 2 x £5
singles.
However, where the related parts of the bet are
resolved at different times, the bet will be settled
as instructed, with the price for the subsequent
legs being determined at each individual stage.
E.g. Agassi to win his semi final at 5/6 and Agassi
to win the tournament outright at 9/4 would be
settled as Agassi for the semi final at 5/6 and
the price for Agassi to win the final at the odds
after the completion of the semi final.
Special related prices may be available on some
events. These will be displayed on our screens
or may be available on request.
Betting in Play
We bet In Play on a selection of live events.
Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the odds displayed
are current, the nature of live betting means
that, on occasions, these will differ from those
available at the time you ask. The odds confirmed
to you at the time of bet acceptance will determine
settlement.
Claims and Disputes
No claims or queries will be considered more
than 26 weeks after the date of the original transaction.
Any disputes, which cannot be mutually resolved,
will be referred to an arbitrator. The current
industry arbitrator is the Independent Betting
Arbitration Service (IBAS). Contact details for

RULES FOR INDIVIDUAL SPORTS
General Sports Betting Rules
In the case of abandoned matches, or matches
where the original scheduled amount of play is
changed, (for example, a reduction in the number
of overs in a cricket match) except where specifically
stated otherwise, bets will be settled on the
current result if further play could not affect
that result. For example if a football match has
been abandoned but the number of corners has already
exceeded the maximum number specified, then further
play could not affect that result.
Any multiple bet reduced by a void, abandoned
or postponed match will stand for the remaining
selections, irrespective of the minimum number
of selections required.
Place terms on sports betting are those that
were relevant at the time that the bet was placed.
If you place an each-way bet and you are uncertain
as to the current place terms you should ask the
member of staff to confirm them at the time.
Place terms on Horse and greyhound racing, with
the exception of ante post are those that were
relevant at the start of the race.
In the event that the number of scheduled sets/legs
to be played is changed (for example, a match
that was originally scheduled to be played over
five sets being reduced to three), then match
bets will stand but set betting will be made void.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in our rules
for each individual sport, bets on any 2 runner
market that ends in a tie or draw, or exactly
the number of points quoted, where no price was
offered for that eventuality, will be made void
and stakes returned. Dead heat rules will apply
for bets placed on markets with 3 or more runners
unless stated otherwise.
With the exception of Antepost markets, unless
specifically stated otherwise in our rules for
individual sports, bets on abandoned or postponed
matches or races, will be made void unless rescheduled
for the next day. Bets on postponed events or
tournaments, such as a bet on a golfer or tennis
player to win a tournament will stand for one
full week from the original scheduled start date,
after which time they will be made void. Bets
on Antepost markets will stand until the event
is completed or officially cancelled.
Set, Frame and Leg Markets: The full number of
sets/frames/legs required to win the match must
be achieved. If circumstances, for whatever reason,
prevail so the match is awarded to a contestant
before this is achieved, then set/frame and leg
betting on that match will be made void.
Handicaps. The handicap is added to the team
after the final result.
In the event of a change of opponent from the
one advertised, then all bets are void.
Unless stated otherwise, if a match changes to
a neutral or alternate venue all bets on that
match placed for the previous venue will be void.
If we issue new prices for the game being played
at the neutral ground, then it is the backers
responsibility to be aware of this.
We reserve the right to refuse the whole or part
of any bet and to make ambiguous bets void.
We reserve the right to suspend any or all betting
on a market at any time without notice.
In running match betting. If a match is not completed
all bets will be void unless further play could
not effect the result.
Horse Racing
General Horse Racing Rules:
Subject to these rules, bets are accepted for
race meetings held under the Jockey Club or their
equivalent bodies abroad.
Should there be any doubt as to whether a bet
refers to horse or greyhound racing, horse racing
will be given precedence.
The advertised times of races, runners, riders
and results as published in the
Racing Post, will govern settlement, obvious errors
and omissions being allowed.
If a selection is correctly named, then bets
will stand on that selection no matter if an incorrect
meeting, time or price is appended. When race
time and number identify a selection, that number
will also take precedence over any price taken.
Horse Racing in the UK, Ireland and South Africa
Place Terms for Each Way Bets:
SP place only bets are not accepted (with the
exception of certain speciality bets). Where place
only bets, or bets where the place part is in
excess of the win, have been accepted in error,
the difference will be void. For the purpose of
settling each way doubles, trebles etc. they are
calculated as 2 distinct bets, i.e. win to win
and place to place.
The place terms of each way bets at SP or board
prices, will be settled as follows:
2-4 Runners all on to win
5-7 Runners 1/4 1st, 2nd
8 or more Runners 1/5 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Handicaps
12 or more Runners 1/4 1st, 2nd, 3rd
16 or more Runners 1/4 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th
For bets other than Antepost, the number of placed
runners, as determined in our place betting rules,
will be governed by the number of runners coming
under starters orders and not by the number of
runners, when the price is laid.
Settlement of Bets:
In the event of no starting price being returned
from horse race winners, then the last industry
price given will be used for settlement purposes.
In the event that no industry price was used then
the tote return will be used for settling purposes
and vice-versa. If neither price is declared bets
will be void.
Numbered Selections:
On an un-timed bet, where numbered selections
are concerned, the bet will stand on the next
race due off where that number occurs.
All bets on unnamed horse race selections will
stand for the meeting which has a race at the
time you state, with stakes divided accordingly
if there is more than one meeting with a race
at that time. However British Racing will be given
preference over Irish Racing.
In single bets, untimed selections will stand
for the next race to run after the bet is placed,
or if a meeting is given, the next race off at
that meeting.
Where multiple bets are concerned and the client
has made it clear that only one meeting is intended,
the bet will be settled for that meeting, even
if other race times coincide. E.g. a Yankee 2.00
2.35 3.05 and 3.40. All times applicable to Newmarket,
although there might be a 2.00 or 3.40 race at
another meeting, the intention is clearly for
all races at Newmarket.
Where a meeting is given and a time, but no selection,
the bet will be settled on the favourite.
Unnamed Favourites:
The favourite is the horse quoted at the shortest
odds in the official starting price, the second
favourite is the horse quoted at the next shortest
price. If two horses are quoted at the shortest
SP, then they will be joint first and second favourites.
Bets on 1st or 2nd favourite are accepted win
only at starting price. Each way bets on unnamed
1st or 2nd favourites are not accepted and if
taken in error, the place part will be settled
as a win stake. Early prices or board prices cannot
be taken on unnamed favourites.
If a client has backed an unnamed favourite and
two or more co favourites are returned, the stake
will be divided equally among them and paid at
full odds.
If a favourite is withdrawn, not under starters
orders and no new market is formed, that favourite
will be treated as a non runner unless in placepots
where your selection will revert to the next shortest
priced selection, and the lowest race card number
in the event of two or more equally priced selections.
In single bets, any un-timed favourite will be
deemed to be for the next race due off, which
is receiving full coverage, from the time the
bet was placed. If a meeting is stated, but no
time given, the bet will stand on the next race
at that meeting.
Withdrawals:
When a horse is withdrawn, before coming under
starters orders, or is deemed by the starter to
have taken no part in the race, stakes will be
refunded on that selection.
Board/Show/SP Prices:
When a horse has been withdrawn then the remaining
bets will be subject to Tattersalls Rule 4, incurring
deductions according to the price of the non runner
at the time of withdrawal. However, should a new
market be formed before the 'off' of a race, then
only bets with a price taken prior to the time
of withdrawal will be affected.
Early Prices:
The same applies for early prices with the exception
that the value of the Rule 4 will be decided by
the price of the withdrawn selection at the time
that the bet was placed.
Double Engagements:
Where a selection is doubly engaged and the client
requests a specific race time, it will be considered
a bet for that race only. If the selection runs
in the other race it will be treated as a non-runner.
Should the client not state a time or states
an incorrect time, so long as an 'if absent' request
is not stated, the bet will be settled on the
first race the selection runs in, on that day.
If two selections, one of which is doubly engaged,
are included in an accumulator of multiple bets,
but run in the same race, then the selection which
is doubly engaged will be automatically timed
for the race in which the entries do not clash.
Restarted Races:
In the event of a false start etc. resulting
in a race being re-run, 'Under starters Orders'
is negated and stakes will be refunded on horses
not taking part in the re-run, with returns on
the remaining runners subject to Tattersalls Rule
4. The number of runners taking part in the re-run
governs place terms.
Walkovers:
These count as races, but any horse so involved,
will be treated as a non-runner.
Postponements:
If a race is postponed to another day, with the
exception of ante-post bets, all selections will
be made void, unless announced otherwise for exceptional
cases such as the Grand National. If races are
set back in time because of weather conditions,
the settling of all bets for the meeting will
be governed by the original advertised race times.
Conditional Bets, Any to Come (If Cash):
In any to come bets it must be clearly stated
from which selection(s) the Any-to-come is to
be taken. Cash in hand from one selection cannot
go on the same selection or any selection in the
same race. Any-to-come bets will be executed in
strict rotation until the stake plus winnings
are exhausted, subject to:
Should there be insufficient cash in hand to
cover all selections the bet will be executed
as far as the cash will allow in accordance to
the instructions, but where an each-way bet on
a selection cannot be fully covered, the win part
will be given preference i.e. £1.00 each-way
with only £1.40 in hand will be settled
as £1.00 win and 40p Place.
Where sufficient stakes are not available to
cover a multiple bet such as a Yankee, the bet
will be settled in full with the return proportioned
accordingly.
Staking instructions for an any-to-come bet must
be clearly and explicitly staked stipulating the
staking to be re-invested. If the amount or ‘All
On’ is not stipulated, then the stake on
the selection immediately preceding will be re-invested.
Should the preceding bet be an accumulative one,
the the maximum individual stake on that bet will
determine the Any-To-Come.
When Any-To-Come goes on to win or Each-Way doubles,
trebles and accumulators, only the amount in hand
from the original instructions will be re-invested.
The win part will be settled first in its entirety
and the place portion last.
Where there is insufficient in hand to cover
either part of the bet the amount in hand will
be proportioned to cover that part of the bet,
which is affected.
In the event of a client backing two selections
Stakes About and they both run in the same race,
then the original stakes will be applied to each
selection singly and the Any-To-Come instructions
ignored.
We do not accept conditional bets on Football,
Other Sports and Ante-Post.
Forecast Bets:
Subject to the following rules, forecasts are
accepted in singles and doubles. Unless provided
in a Forecast Patent, forecast trebles and upwards
are not accepted. Where such bets are taken in
error, the bet or part of the bet will be settled
as Forecast Doubles, the stake involved being
apportioned accordingly.
Forecasts are available in races of three or
more runners and will be settled in accordance
with the requested forecast dividend, for example
computer straight forecast.
Forecasts, inadvertently accepted in races with
only two runners, will be settled as a win single
on the selection nominated to finish first.
Should one runner finish alone, forecasts in
which it is nominated as the winner are settled
on the declared dividend unless none is given
in which case forecasts will be settled as a single
at SP or Pari-Mutuel price.
Where a forecast is selected and no forecast
dividend is returned, bets will be settled in
accordance with the N.S.L. starting price forecast
chart.
If a forecast contains two selections that are
in different races, then the bet will be settled
as a win double.
If the forecast contains a non runner, then the
remaining selection will be settled as a win single
at SP.
If a client asks for a forecast single and gives
only one selection, it will be settled as a win
single. If a reversed forecast is requested and
only one selection is given, it will be settled
as an each-way single.
Instructions for a selection 'with the field'
or a selection 'against the field', means, in
both cases, that the selection is required to
win. Instructions for 'the field with' or 'the
field against' means, in both cases, that the
selection is required to come second.
Unnamed favourites are not accepted in forecast
betting.
Where a permutation is used, which could apply
either to a forecast or a tricast and neither
is specified, the bet will be settled on a forecast.
Tricast Bets:
A tricast is a bet where selections must finish
first, second and third in the correct order,
in races where a computer dividend is declared.
They are accepted as singles only.
Tricast bets accepted for races where no tricast
dividend is declared will be settled as a forecast,
with the third selection ignored.
Where the name and number of a selection has
been given and they do not correspond, the name
will take precedence for settling purposes.
Should a tricast contain a non-runner, the total
stake will be invested on a straight forecast
on the remaining selections in the order written.
In the case of a full cover combination, the total
stake will be divided equally as a reversed forecast
on the remaining selections.
Should there be two non-runners, the tricast
will be settled as a win single on the remaining
selection. For the purposes of settling, a permutation
is considered as a series of straight tricasts.
Double Result Terms and Conditions
All bets placed on UK and Irish horse racing
will be settled on First Past the Post and the
official result. This offer applies to win single
and multiple bets and the win part of each way

are subject to our advertised payout limits.
The exceptions where First Past the Post does
not apply and bets are settled according to the
official result are:
a) A selection taking the wrong course
b) A selection carrying the wrong weight or the
jockey failing to weigh-in
c) Any Ante Post bet
d) A Forecast or Tricast bet
e) A void race
f) Any Tote/Pari-Mutuel bet
g) A selection given as the winner in error by
the judge
h) A Tote bet
i) A bet placed on the Favourite Points or Distance
markets
j) A bet placed on a two runner race or a special
match bet
k) A bet placed in a “without the favourite”

l) Any other special market
m) Grand National
Jockeys mounts and trainers selected:
Where you back Jockey’s Mounts and state
the number of Doubles and Trebles etc. Non-runners
will be added if the jockey does not ride in sufficient
races. Where you do not state the number of Doubles
or Trebles etc. the number of bets will be determined
by the number of actual rides.
Where Owners and Trainers have more than one
runner in a race, the selected is the horse starting
at the shortest price and if two or more start
at the same price the stake will be equally divided.
The Racing Post programme on the day of the races
will determine the Owner/Trainer of a horse. Unless
you state otherwise and dependent upon the time
when your bet is placed, your bet will be settled
for the first applicable meeting should there
be afternoon and evening meetings on the same
day.
Fixed Odds Distance Betting:
A fixed odds bet is available on selected Horse
Race meetings based on predicting the correct
total of the winning distances for all races at
that meeting. The maximum distance for a single
race is 12 lengths for Flat racing and 30 lengths
for National Hunt.
In the event of a walkover, 2 lengths will be
awarded to a Flat race and 6 lengths will be awarded
to a National Hunt race. In the event that one
race is made void or abandoned then 2 lengths
will be awarded for a flat race and 6 lengths
for a
National Hunt race.
If two or more races are abandoned then all bets
will be void unless further races could not affect
the result. The distance will be the official
declared distance at the weigh in. Any subsequent
alterations will not count for settlement purposes.
The following list represents the numeric unit
that is used in the calculation for distances
less than one length.
Short Head 0.10 Lengths
Head 0.20 Lengths
Neck 0.30 Lengths
Half Lengths 0.50 Lengths
1 Length 1.00 Length etc.
Fixed Odds Favourite Betting:
A fixed odds bet is also available at selected
meetings and is based on a points system for the
finishing positions of favourites in each race.
The aim is to correctly predict the total number
of points for the finishing positions of favourites
in each race at the specified meeting. If the
favourite is withdrawn then 10 points are awarded
for that race. If there are joint or co favourites
then the selection will be the one with the lowest
race card number.
In the event of a dead heat then the points for
each placing will be added and divided by the
number of selections in the dead heat. In the
event of a Walkover, then 10 points will be awarded
for that race.
In the event that one race is made void or abandoned
then 10 points will be awarded for that race.
If two or more races are abandoned then all bets
will be void unless further races could not affect
the result. The following is list of the number
of points awarded for the relevant placing of
favourites.
First place 25 Points
Second Place 10 Points
Third Place 5 Points
Jockey Challenge:
A fixed odds bet is available on Jockeys to score
the most points. The result of the jockey challenge
is based on the jockeys actual rides. If any jockey
does not ride in at least one race all bets will
be void. Void races do not affect the jockey challenge
unless it means that a jockey fails to ride at
least in one race.
In the event of a jockey being involved in a dead
heat, then the number of points for each placing
will be added together and divided by the number
of selections involved in the dead heat.
A walkover counts as a winning ride. Jockey challenge
bets can not be placed in multiple bets with favourites
or threesome markets from the same meeting. If
accepted in error related bet rules will apply.
Points are scored as follows:
1st 25 Points
2nd 10 Points
3rd 5 Points
Horse Race Match Bets:
Horses match bets may take the form of a head
to head match, or a selected group such as a threesome.
The winner is the selection that obtains the best
finishing position. If all horses fail to complete
the course the selection that has completed most
of the course is deemed the winner. If selections
fall or refuse at the same fence in National Hunt
races dead heat rules apply. Dead heat rules apply
with regard to finishing positions.
Bets at UK Tote Prices:
Bets at Tote Odds are not accepted (except Placepots,
and via Tote Direct Machines) and any taken in
error will be settled as follows: Exacta as Reversed
Straight Forecast to half the unit stake, Win
and Each Way bets at starting price. All other
bets will be made void.
Place only Tote bets are not accepted and if
taken in error, will be void.
Tote Placepots are accepted at all UK horse race
meetings where a tote pool operates.
To win the placepot, clients must select a placed
horse in each of the first six races at the nominated
meeting. Selections in races of four or less runners
must win. Selections in races of five, six or
seven runners must occupy 1st or 2nd place. In
races of eight or more runners, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd
places and in handicaps of 16 or more runners
and any race nominated by the Tote, 1st, 2nd,
3rd and 4th places.
When a race meeting is not specified or cannot
be identified, the bet will be taken for the principal
meeting published in the Racing Post, unless the
numbers stated do not 'fit' the card for that
meeting, in which case, it will be for the one
or more meetings where the numbers do fit the
card, with the stakes apportioned, if necessary.
Clients can nominate an unnamed favourite in
a Placepot by stating 'fav'. Where joint favourites
are returned, the one with the lowest race card
number will become the selection. Should the favourite
be withdrawn before coming under orders, the next
shortest price runner will become the selection,
unless there is more than one, in which case the
one with the lowest race card number will become
the selection.
In the event that no Placepot dividend is declared,
the bet will be settled as an SP place accumulator.
In the event of a non-runner or an ambiguous selection,
it will be replaced by the favourite, or in the
case of joint favourites the one with the lowest
race card number. Placepot dividends are currently
declared to a £1 unit stake.
Information and rules for racing In Other Countries:
Bets are accepted for all races abroad where
we advertise acceptance.
In races where an industry SP is made available,
all bets will be settled at these prices, unless
requested otherwise. In instances where no industry
SP is made available, bets will be settled at
Pari-Mutuel/Tote returns.
Win and Each-way for foreign pools: Horses in
the same ownership are generally coupled on the
win pool only. In certain countries, e.g. USA
and Belgium, horses are coupled for all pools.
The place part of each way bets will be settled
in accordance to the returned place dividends.
Bets will be settled in accordance to the rules
in place at each track.
It must be noted that in the USA, two place pools
are in operation, namely the "place 1-2 pool"
for 1st and second only and the "show 1-2-3
pool" for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
It is your responsibility to specify which dividend
you require when placing your each way bet. If
no dividend is specified by you, then we will
default your bet to the show 1-2-3 dividend. If
no show dividend is declared by the race track,
then your each way bet will be defaulted to the
place 1-2 dividend. Any selections finishing third
in this circumstance will be made losers. Coupled
horses are treated as one runner for win, place
and show dividends.
Place only bets are not accepted and, if taken
in error will be void.
Forecasts: Straight and Reverse Forecasts, Exactas
and Quinella's are accepted, depending on the
type of forecast in operation. Should the instructions
be for Straight or Reversed Forecast/Exacta and
a Quinella forecast is returned, then the total
stake will be invested as a Quinella forecast
and vice versa.
In countries where bookmakers operate and an
official SP is returned, bets are accepted in
accordance with our general rules and we will
advertise any additional rules, applicable to
the country concerned.
Unnamed favourites are not accepted in races
abroad, unless an official SP is returned. Any
bets taken in error, will be void.
Greyhound Racing In the UK and Ireland
General Rules
We accept bets for First and Second Favourites.
All our general rules apply to both horse and
greyhound racing equally, except where they are
superseded by the following rules, which are specifically
applicable to greyhound racing.
Bets on named greyhounds, which do not run, will
be made void but if the trap number only is selected
then the reserve will be substituted.
Bets are accepted win or each way at starting
price; show price or early price if available.
We do not accept bets on greyhound racing in
the UK or Ireland at Tote odds. Any such bets
accepted in error will be settled at the starting
price equivalent.
Place only bets are not accepted and if taken
in error will be void.
Place terms: In races of 5-7 runners we pay 1/4
odds 1st and 2nd places.In races of 8 runners,
we pay 1/5 odds 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
Where races have less than 5 runners, the place
money goes all on to win.
All bets on unnamed greyhound favourites or trap
numbers, must state the correct time and meeting,
however, where the meeting is omitted, but the
collective race times can only apply to one particular
meeting, then the bets will stand for that meeting.
If the time applies to more than one main meeting
stakes will be equally proportioned for settlement
purposes.
Where the meeting is nominated, but the incorrect
time stated falls within 5 minutes of a race,
e.g. 9.48 Walthamstow, a selection timed 9.45
Walthamstow will stand. In all other cases the
selection will be void, e.g. 9.42 Walthamstow
would be void.
Bets placed for MEETINGS (other than B.A.G.S.
or B.E.G.S. meetings) due to run on a DIFFERENT
DAY must state the future date and day. Where
this is omitted and the timing of the selections
can only apply to one meeting on the date the
bets was placed, then the bet will stand for the
races timed with the meeting nominated being disregarded.
In all other instances the bet will be void.
Re-Runs:
Where a race has been declared void and is re-run,
all bets will stand for the greyhounds that take
part in the re-run, but single bets may be cancelled
by mutual agreement. The prices returned on the
re-run will govern the settlement. ‘Show
Prices’ laid on void races will not be valid
for the re-run race and such bets will settled
at the returned Starting Price. A re-run greyhound
race is taken in the order in which it was originally
placed in the programme, irrespective of the time
at which it was re-run.
Where a race has been declared void and is not
re-run, all bets for that race will be made void
and will not count for any additional race, e.g.
a reserve race.
Trap Challenge:
Available at selected meetings as advertised.
Bets stand irrespective of any non-runners. In
the event of one race being declared void or abandoned
all bets will stand. In the event of two or more
races being void or abandoned, then all bets will
be made void, unless further results could not
affect the outcome. If any race(s) result is a
dead heat between two runners, then half a point
will be awarded to each dead heated trap numbers.
3-2-1 Specials:
Which trap will achieve the highest points total?
Available at selected meetings as advertised.
Scoring as follows 1st : 3 points, 2nd : 2 points,
3rd : 1 point. In the event of one race being
declared void or abandoned all bets will stand.
In the event of two or more races being void or
abandoned, then all bets will be made void, unless
further results could not affect the outcome.
Dead heat rules apply. Bets stand irrespective
of any non runners.
Winning Distances:
Available at selected meetings as advertised.
Maximum make up per race is ten lengths. In the
event of a race being declared void or abandoned
and not re-run, 2 lengths will be awarded. In
the event of two or more races being declared
void or abandoned all bets will be made void,
unless further races could not affect the result.
Winning Favourites:
Available at selected meetings as advertised.
Points are awarded for each race as follows; 25
points awarded if the favourite finishes first,
10 points awarded if the favourite finishes second.
In the event of two or more runners being joint
favourites, the lowest numbered trap will be deemed
the selection for the favourites market.
In the event of one race being declared void or
abandoned then 10 points will be awarded. In the
event of two or more races being declared void
or abandoned then all bets will be made void,
unless further races could not affect the result.
If a greyhound is withdrawn from a race, bets
placed prior to the withdrawal at Early or Show
prices will be settled at S.P.
Football:
Maximum Payout £10,000
Settlement of Bets:
Bets are accepted only on matches where Chris
Pluck offers prices and all winning bets will
be settled at accumulative odds based on the individual
prices shown on our coupons. In the event of a
bet being accepted that contains a match for which
no quotation has been made, that match will be
treated as a 'Non-Runner' and the remaining selections
will be settled subject to fulfilling the minimum
selections requirements.
All odds are subject to fluctuation and amendment
and are based on the result at full-time. The
terms 'Full-Time', '90 minutes play' and 'normal
time' are all used to denote the period of play
which includes time added by match officials for
stoppages, but not scheduled extra time, penalty
shoot-outs etc. Settlement will be at the price
prevailing at the time the bet was placed and
confirmed.
Dates and kick-off times of matches shown on
our coupon are for guidance purposes only.
Selections for match betting are indicated by
the following convention: symbol '1' to indicate
a win for the team shown on the left (home team),
'X' for a draw and '2' to indicate a win for the
team shown on the right (away team). In the event
of a match being played on a neutral ground the
team shown on the left will be regarded as the
home side, and the team shown on the right as
the away side.
Bets will be accepted up to the advertised kick-off
time. If a bet is inadvertently accepted which
includes a match after its kick-off time, the
match will be treated as a 'Non-Runner' and the
bet will be settled on the remaining selections,
except in the following circumstances:
'Betting in Running' is available. In which case
settlement will be at the current odds quoted
at the time the bet is accepted.
'Betting in Running' is not available but the
bet is accepted up to 5 minutes after kick-off
time and no goals have been scored or there has
not been some other significant incident, such
as a sending off.
We reserve the right to refuse the whole or part
of any bet. No postal, telephone, telex or fax
wagers are accepted.
Minimum Selections:
The minimum number of teams allowed in any football
bet is as advertised or as detailed at the head
of each list on our coupons. Incomplete lists
will stand provided the minimum requirements are
met.
Bets, which do not meet the minimum requirement
for the list nominated will stand, provided the
bet is acceptable for another list on the coupon.
A line that does not meet the minimum requirements
will be void or reduced to include only the valid
selections.
A valid entry consists only of valid matches
and matches already resolved on preceding days
will not count as such to make up minimum requirements.
Postponed Or Abandoned Matches:
An unplayed, postponed or abandoned match will
be treated as a 'Non-Runner' for settling purposes
unless it is played during the same 'Football
Week' (Monday - Monday (GMT / BST Time), in which
case the bet will stand unless cancelled by mutual
consent. If 'Non-Runners' reduce an accumulator,
the remaining selections will be settled irrespective
of the minimums detailed in Rule 2. Under no circumstances
will the judgement of any 'Pools Panel' be accepted
as a result.
Any match which is abandoned before the completion
of 90 minutes play will be void with multiple
bets being settled on the remaining selections.
This ruling applies to all lists with the exception
of :
Bets involving 'First Player To Score', 'Next
Goalscorer' or time of first goal, where bets
will stand provided the first / next goal has
been scored at the time of abandonment.
Soccerstats or certain special bets where the
winning market has already been established and
no other outcome is possible.
Re-Arranged Matches :
In the event of a change of venue not published
or made known to us at the time coupons are published,
bets will stand provided the venue is not switched
to the opponents' ground, in which case selections
for that match will be made void.
If a team plays a different opponent to the one
stated on the coupon, that selection will be void
and the remaining selections will be settled irrespective
of the minimums selections rule.
Handicap List :
For the purpose of deciding results on the Handicap
List, a number of goals (or half-goals) is added
to, or subtracted from, the total goals scored
by the away team.
Settlement on the Handicap List will be at the
special odds shown alongside its matches, using
the actual score in the match adjusted for the
'Handicap'.
Double Result (Half Time / Full Time or 45 / 90
Betting):
Bets predicting the Double Result must indicate
the result at both Half-Time and Full-Time.
Half Time Coupon:
Bets must indicate the result at Half-Time. Settlement
will be based on the odds shown on our Half-Time
coupon. Matches abandoned after half-time will
not affect settlement of Half-Time coupon bets.
The term '45 Minutes Play' denotes the period
of play up to Half-Time, including injury time.
First / Last Player to Score:
Every effort will be made to quote First Goalscorer
/ Last Goalscorer odds for all possible participants.
However, other players will always be quoted on
request and will count as winners should they
score the first / last goal. Bets on First Goalscorer’s
that are substituted / sent off before the first
goal is scored are treated as losing selections.
Bets on players not taking part in the match will
be void. Bets on First Goalscorer where the selection
comes on after the first goal is scored will be
void, unless the first goal is an own goal, in
which case bets will stand. All players that take
part in a match will be considered ‘runners’
for Last Goalscorer purposes. Should there be
any doubt as to whether a bet is intended for
First Goalscorer / Last Goalscorer, in all cases
it will be settled on the First Goalscorer.
In the event of a dispute over the award of a
goal, for betting purposes settlement will be
based on the goalscorer listed by the Press Association
immediately the match has finished. Please note
that own goals do not count. Any subsequent alterations
to Press Association records will not count.
Where there is more than one player with the
same surname and the selection has not been identified
by either the first name, team or qualifying price,
the player with the lowest advertised price will
be taken as the selection. In the event of one
or more players being quoted at the lowest advertised
price dead heat rules will apply.
Own goals do not count.
Each Way First Goal Scorer:
Singles only accepted.
The place part of each-way bets will be settled
at one third the odds on the first, second and
third goals ONLY. Players who do not score until
after three goals have been scored, will be treated
as losing selections.
If less then three goals are scored then settlement
will be based on the actual goals scored. Where
no goals are scored all each-way bets will be
treated as losing selections.
Where a player scores the first goal, both the
win and place part of the bet are successful and
will be settled at the appropriate win and place
odds. If the same player scores the second or
third goal no additional winnings will be paid.
Where a player scores the second or third goal,
the place part of the bet is successful. If the
same player scores the second and third goals,
no additional winnings will be paid for the third
goal.
Where the selection does not take part, or comes
on after the first goal is scored, both the win
and place part of the bet will be void, unless
the first goal is an own goal, in which case bets
will stand.
Players that are substituted/sent off before
the first goal is scored are treated as losing
selections in both the win and place part of the
bet.
Each-way bets on No Goalscorer or Last Goalscorer
are not accepted and if taken in error will be
settled “all up to win”, i.e. the
total stake will be invested as a win only bet.
Each-way selections are not accepted in First
Goalscorer/Correct Score Doubles and if taken
in error will be settled “all up to win”.
Place only bets are not accepted and if taken
in error will be settled as each-way with the
stake divided.
Own goals do not count.
Extra time does not count.
First Team To Score In The Premier League:
Only teams taken from English Premier matches
with the same scheduled kick-off time will be
quoted, although allowances will be made for matches
that start late.
For example:
Chelsea K.O. 3.00pm - time of first goal 3.05pm
Man Utd. scheduled K.O. 3.00pm - actual K.O.
3.15pm - time of first goal 3.17pm
Bets on Man Utd. will be treated as winners because
they scored two minutes after the start whereas
Chelsea did not score until five minutes after
the start.
In the event of a dispute over the time of the
first goal, settlement will be based on the time
listed by the Press Association.
If a match is abandoned after the first goal
in the Premier is scored, all bets stand.
In the event of two or more of the matches listed
for 'First Team To Score In The Premier' being
postponed, all bets will be void.
Please note that 'Own Goals Count' in the settlement
of bets.
First Player To Score In The Premier League :
Only players belonging to teams quoted in our
'First Team To Score In The Premier' list will
count.
Bets on players that come on after the first
goal in the Premier has been scored are void.
If a match is abandoned after the first goal
in the Premier is scored, all bets stand.
In the event of two or more of the matches listed
for 'First Team To Score In The Premier' being
postponed, all bets on 'First Player To Score
In The Premier' will be void.
Please note that 'Own Goals Do Not Count' in
the settlement of bets.
Time Of First Goal:
Singles and upwards are available on selected
matches
If a match is abandoned after the first goal
is scored, all bets stand.
If a match is abandoned before the first goal
is scored, all bets placed on the first goal being
scored in the period of time (21 - 30 minutes
etc.) up to but not including the time of abandonment
are lost e.g. match abandoned 26 minutes - losing
bets are those placed on 1-10, 11-20 minutes.
In the event of a dispute over the time of the
first goal, settlement will be based on the time
listed by the Press Association.
Outright Betting:
Where odds for OUTRIGHT win as well as 90 MINUTES
play are offered in Cup Finals etc., unless 'To
Win Outright' or a qualifying price has been selected,
all bets are settled on 90 minutes play.
Divisional Betting:
League winners will be determined by the official
rules of the respective league.
Therefore a play-off or any other process, which
is used to determine the league winner, will count.
In Serie A, for example, teams tied on the same
number of points are not separated by goal average
/ difference. Therefore play-offs will count when
the finishing positions of teams are determined.
In divisional betting, with the exception of
league winners, the finishing position of teams
at the end of the scheduled programme of matches
will determine placings with no allowance for
play-offs or subsequent enquiries by the respective
leagues.
Divisional Handicap Betting:
At least one team will start from scratch and
the other teams in the division will each be awarded
a set number of points.
Bets must be placed prior to the start of the
season.
The final placings will be determined by adding
the points awarded to each team to the total points
accumulated at the end of the season.
Dead heat rules apply to teams that are level
on points. Goal average/difference does not count.
Correct Scores:
Bets must predict the score at the end of normal
time and will be available on selected matches.
Extra Time and penalty shoot-outs do not count.
Singles and upwards are accepted on all matches
where correct score betting is available.
Odds for league and cup matches in the UK, France,
Germany, Italy, Spain and other countries where
we specifically advertise that correct scores
will be available will be determined by our Correct
Score Chart.
Correct score betting for European Cup competitions
(i.e. Champions League, UEFA Cup etc.) and International
matches will be covered by a separate chart.
Where special odds are advertised in our shops,
published in the press or printed on the front
of our football coupons they will supersede those
printed on any chart.
Where the quoted Match Odds contain a price not
shown on the correct score chart, the next highest
price on the chart will apply.
Managers To Lose Their Positions By The End Of
The Season :
The end of the season is defined as the time when
the Premier League programme has been completed.
Next Goal Scorer:
Bets predicting the Next Goalscorer will be available
on selected matches while they are in progress.
Bets will be void if your selection does not participate.
Bets will be void if the match is abandoned before
a goal is scored.
Goalscorers:
Bets will be offered on selected matches where
a player can be nominated to score a goal.
All players who take part in a match will be
considered 'Runners'.
In the event of 'Non-Runners', singles will be
void and accumulative bets will be settled on
the remaining selections.
Any selections taken from a match that is not
completed will be treated as a non-runner.
Player Bookings:
Where each way bets are available on the bookings
market the place part will be settled on the first
three individual players to receive a yellow /
red card. Stakes will be returned on players taking
no part or coming on after the first yellow /
red card has been given.
Scorecast/First Goalscorer-Correct Score Double:
Bets will be settled at the combined odds advertised.
If a player comes on after a goal has been scored
or does not take part in the game, bets involving
that player will be settled as a single on the
selected correct score at the appropriate odds.
For First Goalscorer purposes, own goals do not
count. If the only goals in the match are own
goals, all bets will be settled as singles on
the selected Correct Score at the appropriate
odds. If the match is abandoned after a goal has
been scored all bets will be settled as singles
on the selected First Goalscorer at the appropriate
odds.
Soccerstats:
Soccerstats include the Number of Goals, Number
of Corners, Number of Bookings, etc. Extra time
does not count.
Singles and upward are accepted on selections

a declaration, or if a player retires hurt, his
score at the end of the innings shall determine

player is out. If a player retires, bets will
be made void.

conclusion if the team is all out, has declared,
or has won the match.
Speciality Bets: Some of our speciality bets
are wide ranging and it is not possible to list
rules to cover all eventualities. However, we
will endeavour to advertise obvious rules along
with the betting proposition on our Internet and
text services. Speciality bets will be settled
on the current result if further play could not
affect that result. For example in a runs market,
if the highest band of runs has already been exceeded,
then further play could not affect that result.
Limited Overs Matches:
The winner of the match will be the team advancing
to the next round according to the official competition
rules or awarded the trophy, with the exception

bets to stand, unless the innings has reached
its natural conclusion. Dead Heat rules apply.
Runs and wicket Markets within an innings or
match: Unless stated otherwise, at least 90% of
the full number of scheduled overs at the time
the bet was struck must be bowled in order for
bets on runs and wicket markets to stand, except
where the innings has reached its natural conclusion.
Runs/wicket markets in a specified number of
overs: For example, 1st 15 overs. The full number
of specified overs must be played for bets to
stand, unless the innings has reached its natural
conclusion. Any change in fielding restrictions
due to a reduction in scheduled innings/overs
will not affect the settlement of this market.

teams must bat for at least 90% of the scheduled
number of overs at the time the bet was struck,
unless each innings reaches its natural conclusion.
Match Handicaps: Handicaps may be quoted where
one team is weaker than the other given in the
form of runs or wickets. The handicap is added
at the end of the match. If the team receiving
the start wins the match, then they also are the
winners of the handicap market.
If the team receiving the start bats first then
the handicap is translated into wickets, if they
bat second then the handicap is translated into
runs. Bets will be settled on the official match
result, including weather affected games or where
the Duckworth/Lewis Method has been applied.

match result will be void.

factors e.g. bad weather. If the natural length
of the innings is less than 50 overs then bets
will stand.

aggregate total of both teams if both teams bat
during that session. The sessions are referred
to by numbers with 1 referring to the morning
session of play (before lunch), 2, the afternoon
session of play (between lunch and tea) and 3,
the evening session of play, (play between tea
and end of play). A minimum of 20 overs must be
bowled, or the game completed for session runs

4 may apply. If a player tees off, then that player
will count as a runner. If that player subsequently
retires he will be settled as a loser. Play offs

will govern settlement irrespective of the number
of rounds completed.
If a bet is struck and there is no further play,
or further play does not count for the official
result, those bets will be made void.
Tournament Match Bets: A price will be offered
for the tie and in the event of a tie, bets on
either player to win will be lost. Play Offs will
count for settlement purposes, should one player
win the event. If one player misses the cut, the
other is deemed the winner. If both players miss
the cut, then the one with the lowest score will
be deemed the winner. If a player is disqualified,
either prior to the completion of two rounds or

General Motor Racing Rules
Outright Team/Driver Championship Betting: All
in compete or not. Bets will be determined by
the number of points accumulated immediately following
the podium presentation of the final race of the
season and will not be affected by subsequent
enquiries.
Individual Race/Meeting Betting: All in compete
or not. In the event of a disqualification, the
podium presentation will count as the 'weigh-in'
and determine the settlement of bets. The start
of any motor race is defined as the signal to
start the warm up lap. Any driver on the grid
at this time (inc. any starting from the pit lane)
and failing to be classified as finished under
the governing body rules will be deemed to be
a runner and a non-finisher.
Match Bets: Bets are settled on the driver who
finishes in the best position. Both drivers need
not complete the race. If neither driver finishes,
the one who has completed most laps will be the
winner. Should both drivers retire having completed
the same number of laps then all bets will be
void.
Qualifying Match Bets: Bets are settled on the
driver who sets the quickest time in the qualifying
session. Any time penalties or grid demotions

who finish the race in the podium/points positions,
with the podium presentation counting as the 'weigh

Subsequent enquiries will not affect the result
for settlement purposes.

Formula 1:
All results for Formula One bets are governed
by the FIA's official classification at the time
of the podium presentation.
To Be Classified: In Grand Prix betting, FIA
rules stipulate 'Cars having covered less than
90% of the number of laps covered by the winner
will not be classified'. This is the criteria
used to determine whether a driver is classified
or not classified.
If a driver completes 90% of the number of laps
that the winner completed and his engine explodes
forcing him to stop, he is classified under FIA
rules and bets on that driver not to be classified
will be losers. The official classification will
be published in most daily newspapers the following
morning or alternatively can be found on the web
site www.fia.com.
Number Of Classified Drivers: Bets settled on
the number of drivers given an official classification
by the FIA. See above for definition of this.

event of a tie bets on either rider will be losers.
